Denver’s GES Bus Bench Beautification Ribbon Cutting Event

What: Globeville Elyria Swansea (GES) Bruce Randolph School Backstop and Bus Bench Art Project Ribbon Cutting

 When: Tuesday, April 284 p.m.

Where: Bruce Randolph School bus shelter site, 40th Avenue and Steele Street

Who: Councilwoman Judy Montero, Birdseed Collective and Denver Arts & Venues

Why: Through inspired partnership and grant support from Denver Arts & Venues’ P.S. You Are Here initiative, Birdseed Collective collaborated with RTD, Focus Points Resource Center, GES Livewell, Denver Public Works and community residents to identify six bus stops near the Bruce Randolph School, Swansea Elementary and Garden Place Elementary, and to beautify these bus benches. This event celebrates the completion of the GES Bruce Randolph School Backstop and Bus Bench Art Project.  Denver Councilwoman Judy Montero will perform the ribbon cutting. Light refreshments will be served.
